Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how GymSaver collects, uses, and shares information when you use the GymSaver iOS app and this website (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Aguirre Technologies LLC (“GymSaver,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the Service:
- Account information. Your email address and a password, when you sign up. Passwords are stored only as a one-way salted hash; we never see or store your password in plain text.
- Content you submit. Reel links you choose to import, photos you choose to upload, the exercises identified in them, your custom exercises, your workout templates and multi-day plans, and your training history, including completed sessions and per-set logs.
- Preferences. Settings you adjust within the app.
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and your email address to reply.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To process the reels and photos you import, including identifying exercises in them.
- To send the notifications you have opted in to.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We use a small number of vetted third-party service providers to run the Service, including providers for cloud hosting, authentication, database storage, AI-based exercise extraction, and email delivery. These providers process information only on our instructions and are bound by contracts to use the information solely to provide their service to us. Some of these providers are located in the United States; if you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not collect your precise location, advertising identifier, or device fingerprint.
- We do not access HealthKit, your contacts, or your photo library beyond the individual photos you explicitly choose to upload.
- We do not access your Instagram account or any non-public Instagram content. We download only publicly available reels you choose to submit.
5. Account deletion and data retention
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app under Settings. When you delete your account, we delete the information associated with it, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with law or to exercise or defend legal claims. Encrypted database backups are retained for a limited period for disaster recovery and then automatically destroyed.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@gymsaver.app. We will respond within a reasonable period, and within the time required by applicable law.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, password hashing with modern algorithms, and access controls limiting who can read production data. No security control is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that an unauthorized party will never gain access. If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
